Lifan 125cc

People have been obsessed with speed and action all their lives, especially fast-moving vehicles that can be moved and manipulated at will. If you don’t thrill at this, then it will be hard for you to understand the magic that bikes hold for some. Especially light weight, powerful dirt and pit bikes in the range of 125 to 250cc capacity.

While it’s great to ride and enjoy these bikes, a little bit of knowhow with regard to how to troubleshoot them if need be is a good thing. The most disheartening event that can occur in the middle of a dirt race is when your bike’s ignition goes off and refuses to start. How do you fix this?

If your Lifan 125cc’s engine will not start, turn on the ignition switch and see if the neutral light comes on. If not, the problem is likely to be with the ignition switch connection. If your ignition does come on, check if the fuel lines are unobstructed. Give the carburetor a cursory check to make sure everything is adjusted properly, such as the float mechanism.

If all this seems in order, check if the battery has a charge, and make sure that all the connections are fitted properly and tighten loose ones. The black box will not start if the battery is not connected properly. Tighten the wiring in the ignition system. Finally, check the spark plugs, condenser, ignition points and the fuses to see if everything is working order.

One good recommendation at this point is; if you look for lifan 125cc, buy a good 125cc Braaapster pit bike to avoid ignition startup problems and other intermittent issues.
